I first wanted to try out the Mario Badescu rosewater because of how many makeup artists were raving about them on the gram. I never noticed a huge difference in my skin when using setting sprays, so I really didn't care to use it for that. I really was interested in the ingredients, and how they would my skin. I'll list the official ingredients below, but the ingredients that really stood out to me were rose hip, and aloe. Those two things have always healed my skin, and kept it clear. So, I figured, in conjunction, they might work even better!
The Rosewater really has improved the overall texture and look of my skin. I can tell my dacne scars have actually faded quite a bit, and it keeps my skin hydrated! I really recommend this even to use as a setting spray, its awesome!
Next, the fresh rose face mask. This thing is literally, like, just... I can't even find a fitting word. It's probably my favorite face mask I've ever used.
The product itself looks a bit odd, but it is a gel consistency, with small pieces of rose petal in it. It smells great, obviously!
But, it has a lot of different rose ingredients, and a "smart" algae that "delivers optimum moisture." I would have to agree! It is not hard to remove either, all you need is a nice rinse with water. Afterwards, you should expect to see your skin glowing. I woke up the day after I first used it, and was amazed. My skin looked so even, plump, hydrated, and glowing.
A quick tip: It recommends you leave it on for 5-10 minutes, but, I once forgot to take it off. Lol, it is very light and you can barely tell it's on. I woke up the next morning and realized it was still on my face. After removing it, I think it worked better being left on overnight, than just using it for a few minutes.
Lastly, I love my Christian Dior Creme de Rose lip balm. It is extremely smooth, and easy to use. It makes your lips feel like silk! My favorite thing is, it adds a barely there tint, and is not the least bit sticky or irritating when on. And, my lips are actually hydrated after use! Plus, the packaging is very quaint and classic. I love how simple it looks.
All in all, I think it would really benefit all of you to try out something with rose. It is a miracle product!
Hope you guys enjoyed this week's post. Please be sure to like and share, if you enjoyed, and I can't wait to put out some more posts I've been working on! xx
