ORGANIZATION NATION : NEW YEAR'S RESOLUTIONS

Sooo, who else loves organizing their belongings? Seeing them all displayed perfectly and neatly.. Every item has its place..So refreshing. I thought I'd make a post to tell you guys some of my favorite tips and tricks, some of my favorite places to get containers and organizers, and hopefully to motivate your guys to get a fresh start to the new year! Yay!

My no.1 favorite places to shop for inexpensive organization are either ROSS, TJMAXX, or any other discounted department store. Almost every time I go to one of these stores, I find super nice containers, shelves, and helpful gadgets to organize with.

Another place I love is Target! Target always has decorative storage, many home appliances, and they are not very expensive either. Ikea is a great place as well!

If you're looking to invest, or don't mind paying a bit more, I suggest looking at The Container Store, or Crate&Barrel.

So, I think I'm going to do multiple posts that cover each room or area, like kitchen, makeup, and bathroom etc. This episode....kitchen organization!

So my number 1 favorite things for storing/organizing food are "POP Containers". They sell these at many stores, like Target (here), Container Store (here), and Crate&Barrel (here) as well. There are great because you can put labels on, they're clear, and the "POP" feature keeps food fresh.

I also love the little air safe canisters, you can find them at The Container Store. They're great for storing baking ingredients such as flour, sugar, and spices. They're also clear which makes finding things easy, and chalk board labels (here) are useful and cute as well!

Something I find super helpful is having something at my kitchen sink to organize sponges, soap, and scrubbers etc. I find myself losing them, leaving them all over the kitchen, so having a proper place to put them is nice. I have a large canister I use, but I also love these ones at Pottery Barn, and Target.

Lastly, something I think looks really nice, and helps to keep your kitchen looking put together, platters, trays, or little wicker basket trays. I think these are great because you can use them in your pantry to place containers/jars on, or utensils, decorative accents, and napkins stored on the counter top. It makes it look for put together, rather than stuff standing alone the counter, it can sometimes look messy. But, on a tray, it looks like it's supposed to be there. You can find some herehere, and here. Also, I think they have the cutest most unique ones at Pottery Barn! Simply search "tray" on their site and you should find a lot!

I 'll end this post with some organization ideas, or inspiration. Hope you enjoyed, love you all! Please be sure to follow or join my email list to stay updated on future posts! And always feel free to comment suggestions/your tips&tricks to share with everyone else! xx
